"I am very thankful for my time at Little Miami," Dubbs said. "It has afforded me a vast range of administrative experiences that has prepared me for the Waynesville superintendency."
Dubbs came to Little Miami in 2001 as the principal of the junior high. He started his most recent position in 2004. He has been overseeing the construction and renovation program for Little Miami, while managing food service, maintenance, technology and transportation departments and provides leadership with human resources.
"This is a great opportunity for Mr. Dubbs," said Little Miami Supt. Dan Bennett. "He has been a very important part of the Little Miami family, and I know he will be a tremendous leader for Wayne Local Schools."
The Waynesville School Board approved Dubbs' contract at their meeting Monday night, and the Little Miami school board is expected to accept his resignation at their meeting Tuesday, May 20.
