Buckeyes add receiver to 2009 recruiting class

COLUMBUS — James Jackson, considered the top high school wide receiver in Michigan, accepted a scholarship offer from Ohio State on Monday. May 12, becoming the program's 14th verbal commitment for the 2009 class.
The 6-foot, 175-pound Jackson has been timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.31 seconds and was rated as the 20th-best receiver in the nation, according to Scout.com. He picked the Buckeyes over UCLA, Michigan, Illinois, Alabama and Florida.
