Hosket Jr. to speak at Agonis Club banquet

Former Belmont High School and Ohio State star basketball player Bill Hosket Jr. will be the featured speaker at the annual Dayton Agonis Club awards banquet May 14, at the Presidential Banquet Center in Kettering.
The club will present awards for best area high school athlete (Centerville basketball player Matt Kavanaugh), best University of Dayton athlete (quarterback Kevin Hoyng), best Wright State athlete (basketball guard Vaughn Duggins), best out-of-town college athlete from a local high school (OSU linebacker Marcus Freeman) and area coach of the year (Chaminade-Julienne boys basketball coach Joe Staley).
