Talawanda open practices starting

Talawanda High School girls open soccer practices will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, July 7, at the Oxford Community Park. Any student freshman through senior who is interested in playing for the fall should attend.

Participants should come dressed and ready to play (including shin guards), and bring lots of water and a soccer ball.

Family Golf Month to be held in July

Hueston Woods State Park Golf Course is hosting Family Golf Month in July.

After 5:30 p.m. daily, kids 15 and younger and their parent or guardian will receive 50 percent off nine-hole greens fees and 50 percent off driving range balls.
