The Jolly way is not

the county way

when it comes to hiring

Mr. Jolivette claims hiring for Jolly's is no different than hiring for the county. I think there is one really major difference. We, the residents, are paying for a county worker, and those that do the hiring must be much more careful who is selected.

Right now it seems to be a problem, and qualifications seem to be secondary, even though someone who may be a relative, or friend, is hired in another department, some feel this is OK. Do you really believe, that the person who is in charge of that hire, will really come down hard, or fire that person, without the fear of retaliation?

The county has got to look hard, and decide a fair and correct way to bring new people in.
