LM cheerleading tryouts May 19

Little Miami Junior High School cheerleading tryouts are scheduled for students interested in cheering for football and basketball, and who will be entering the 7th or 8th grade for the 2008-2009 school year. Practices for tryouts will be held May 13-15 from 2:30-4 p.m. The tryouts will be held Monday, May 19, starting at 2:30 p.m. All practices and tryouts will be held in the Junior High main gym.
Prosepctive cheerleaders will learn the words and motions to a cheer. They will also be given the words to a chant with which they will have to make up their own motions. They will perform both the cheer and their chant at tryouts, and they will be asked to demonstrate different jumps and tumbling routines.
