Mason will fine violators of city's no-skate zones
Thursday, April 24, 2008
Skateboarders won't be cast as criminals in Mason. But they will be penalized if they are found riding on the wrong rails.
No-skate zones have been established at the downtown plaza, the Veterans Memorial, all park playground equipment, Corwin M. Nixon Park, the ball fields and spectator areas at the new Mason Sports Park, the Mason Community Center and on bridges. Scofflaws will be fined $100, $200 or $300, depending on the number of times they are caught.
