Morris Financial Group's Michael Miller named

Agent of the Month

Michael A. Miller, agent for The Morris Financial Group, Inc. and operating in southwest Ohio, has earned the Agent of the Month award for February from Kansas City Life Insurance Company.

The award honors the top producing agent both nationally and internationally on the company's latest monthly production report.

In addition to being the top selling agent for the month, Miller also posted a 100 percent persistency rate over a three-year period. Persistency rate is the percentage of life insurance policies that stay in force to the end of the period coverage.

To qualify for honors, the agent must be the top producer in Net Annualized First Year Commission among agents nationally and internationally selling Kansas City Life products for that month.

The individual must have sold a minimum of five policies during the month and maintain a consistent level of production and good persistency over a three-month period.

American Cancer Society names Bartel as events director

The American Cancer Society welcomes Pam Bartel of Centerville as its new distinguished events director for Southwest Ohio. Bartel will assist volunteers in planning the American Cancer Society Cattle Baron's Balls in Dayton and Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Golf Classic presented by National City and a new corporate golf tournament in Dayton. Such events support ACS's research, education, advocacy and service programs in Southwest Ohio.

Bartel comes to the American Cancer Society after playing a role as a volunteer at the Cattle Baron's Ball of Dayton. She also brings several years of experience in medical sales.
