Four Middletown teens were arrested shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday, May 11, after they robbed another teen at gunpoint in the area of 8th Avenue and Yankee Road, police said.

The four fled in a red Chevy Blazer after taking a cell phone and undetermined amount of cash from Stephan Glenn, 19, of Middletown, said Middletown police Sgt. Brad Carrozza.

Extras

The four ditched the vehicle in the 600 block of Lafayette Avenue and were arrested just minutes after the robbery when they were spotted by Patrol Dennis Jordan, Carroza said.

Police found a shotgun in the vehicle.

The oldest teen, Marcus Israel, 19, of Fairmount Avenue, was charged with aggravated robbery, three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, abusing crack cocaine and having a weapon under disability.

The three other teens — ages 16, 16 and 14— were all charged with aggravated robbery.
