to perform locally
Extras
The Lebanon Presbyterian Church will host the African Children's Choir for two performances at 8:15 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday, May 18, at the church, 123 N. East St.
A third performance will be held at 6 p.m. at River Hills Christian Church, 6300 Price Road in Loveland.
The choir comprises children ages 6-10 from Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya, who are not only musical, but who also come from some of the most desperate villages. Many are orphaned due to poverty and disease. They have most recently performed on "American Idol" and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." Money raised from their concerts will help build schools throughout Africa.
