Chili fotos!

You know, chili is hard to photograph in the wild, because it moves so much and mostly likes to come out at night…

But our intrepid reporter Amelia Robinson, better known as the DDN’s “Smart Mouth” columnist, did her best and captured numerous excellent images of chili and its various local creators, who were in evidence at the terrific Montgomery County MR/DD Chili Cookoff last Saturday.

It was the MontCo Fairgrounds, and your very own Leadbellies were the judges. We had a blast … it was hard to pick a favorite, but I will say this: We favored basic red chili from the usual ingredients. Call us simple, but hey — it was what tasted best!

Munch munch munch…
